what would the minimum dimensions have to be on a flat sheet to do hospital corners on a twin bed?
It also depends on the thickness of the matress, I have a new, thicker mattress, about 12", and I can no longer do good hospital corners on it, same sheets. They kinda work but don't go under enough to stay, and don't quite look right.

Will flat twin sheets fit my twin xl bed if I use as fitted sheet replacement? I'm having a really hard time finding organic twin xl sheets, and I'm told that twin fitted will not fit the twin xl bed? Please let me know, thanks!
No, regular twin sheets will be too short. And you'll most likely want a mattress topper too as the beds are like cardboard. So with the added depth of the topper, you will need the Xlong sheets.
